United already has an English Twitter page (@ManUtd) with more than one million followers and a Japanese version (@ManUtd_JP).

And this year the club has also become active on Google+, Instagram and Chinese-language social media networks Sina Weibo and Renren, while its official Facebook page, launched in 2010, has over 35 million fans.
