Sir Bobby's Munich tribute

Sir Bobby Charlton led a Manchester United delegation in visiting a memorial for the Munich air disaster in the hours before the Bayern away match.

The Reds legend and ambassador – himself a survivor of the crash on 6 February 1958 – said it was "something that had to be done" when the Champions League draw pitted the two great clubs against each other.

Sir Bobby laid flowers at the site and thanked everyone who joined him there to pay their respects to the 23 people who perished.

Our short video shows Sir Bobby saying a few words at the scene.
