A lucky Manchester United fan has won a money-can't-buy prize after becoming the five-millionth visitor to the club's Museum at Old Trafford.
Darren Haigh, 39, was the supporter fortunate to reach the landmark figure and will receive the ultimate Reds fan experience for himself and his family. As well as watching a first-team session at the Aon Training Complex, they will enjoy VIP treatment at an upcoming United home fixture, with a hospitality suite and hotel accommodation included.
"I'm so delighted to be welcomed as the five-millionth visitor to the Manchester United Museum," said Darren, who was joined by wife Lindsay and son Sam. "I cannot thank them enough for this prize for me and my family. I'm completely overwhelmed.
"I've been a fan for over 30 years so I thought I'd take advantage of the Museum being free to come and visit. It was a brilliant surprise!"
Entry to the museum will remain free of charge until the end of August, giving fans the chance to learn more about the greatest football story ever told. It features a brand new George Best: ICON exhibit, with memorabilia celebrating the career of a true United legend.
