Rooney's corner challenge

In the days prior to his wonder goal against West Ham, Wayne Rooney put in an impressive display as the latest player to take on the bwin Corner Challenge.

Although the forward couldn't quite match the huge totals posted by team-mates Michael Carrick and Juan Mata, he still notched an impressive score.

The England star got off to a flying start, finding the tiny 75-point net with his first attempt, but knowing that Mata had achieved an intimidating 200-point tally, he decided to go for broke and constantly aimed for the most rewarding but most difficult target.

After several agonisingly close attempts, Rooney had to settle for third place behind the afore-mentioned midfielders. A smiling Wayne was a touch disappointed, but joked of his relief at beating United goalkeeper David De Gea.

After completing the challenge, the Reds' no. 10 spoke exclusively to bwin to talk about his team-mates and sporting heroes.
