Berbatov answers fans

Dimitar Berbatov answers questions from United Review  readers...

Which United legend do you look up to? Michael Morrison
There are so many. I have great respect for the players I play with now and the things they have achieved. Obviously United have a history of great players – Sir Bobby Charlton, Eric Cantona, Denis Law, George Best… but to pick out one is disrespectful to the others.

What are your plans after football – coaching, punditry, acting or will you just ride off into the sunset? Red Devil Mank
[Laughs] I haven’t thought about it really. I will probably go home [to Bulgaria]. I’d like to work with kids so maybe set up a football academy and if someone gave me a role in a movie perhaps I would take it!

What's your favourite career moment at United? greatdane0
My debut when I first pulled on the red shirt [in 2008] and every game since. Winning the league stands out but just being able to wear the shirt is the best thing for me.

Which United goal would you rate as your best? Kayzer Dharsi
Maybe my overhead kick against Liverpool [last season] – that was nice, although I might change it to the third one I scored in that game because it helped us win!

Is there anything special you do in training to maintain your exquisite touch? Tasneem
[Smiles] I’m lucky that I was gifted with the technique I have. When I was younger I worked hard on technical skills with my father and youth coach and as time passes by you keep improving and learning.
