Rival bosses reunited

Who could ever forget the moment when Kevin Keegan lost his temper on live television in response to comments made by Sir Alex Ferguson - "I will love it if we beat them - love it!"


Still quoted today, Keegan's rant is regarded as a pivotal moment in the 1995/96 title race when United overhauled Newcastle's one-time 14-point lead to win the championship. And although King Kev never again came close to finishing above Ferguson in the table, their head-to-head encounters still generated plenty of colour and column inches in the press.

Prior to their first meeting since 2005, ManUtd.com recalls some classic bouts between the two bosses, starting with five great Ferguson wins:
