Archive: Today at OT

Every weekday, the ManUtd.com team brings you insider comments, pics and videos from the home of the Reds, giving our unique take on what's going on at Old Trafford. Have your say about our new feature in the Today At OT messageboard thread.

Sunday 16 August

That's about it from us. We hope you've enjoyed the new Today At OT feature – we'll be back with more on Monday morning. (NC)

17:23 Things are starting to calm down a little now after a hectic couple of hours. Matchdays are always intense and today was no exception: you can now read Adam's match report, as well as reaction from Sir Alex, John O'Shea and some (slightly worrying) injury news. Oh, and don't forget to vote for your star man in the Man of the Match poll. I thought it was an enjoyable game, although I'd have preferred United to have taken a few more chances. By the way, as I type this, Liverpool have gone 2-1 down at White Hart Lane. Come on you Spurs! (NC)

12:03 I've joined Adam in the office now and it's me who'll bring you the live text updates via our in-game Match Tracker service. In fact, coverage on Match Tracker will start just after 12:30pm, so this will be the last update in this story until a few hours after the final whistle. Don't forget, you can follow all the action from United v Birmingham right here on ManUtd.com. (NC)

11:35 Met up with Ronnie and his family – they were just soaking up the atmosphere pitchside before the turnstiles open. It's amazing how eerily quiet the stadium is two hours before kick-off – as pin-drop quiet as it is when lucky staff members including yours truly get to play on the hallowed turf in May. Ronnie made his "pitch" to make an appearance at Old Trafford in a charity game next year – I'll see what I can do. He's played at the other Old Trafford a few times of course, during his cricket career (AB)

11:02 Right, I'm off to track down United fan and Talksport presenter
