16:14 We've just had confirmation of a couple of fixture changes for the new year. United's trip to Birmingham on Saturday 9 January will now kick-off at 17:30 GMT and will be shown live on ESPN, while the visit to the Emirates to take on Arsenal, originally scheduled for Saturday 30 January, has been put back 24 hours and will now be played on Sunday 31 January at 16:00 GMT. 11:42 There has been a lot of nonsense in the media today about a rift between Tomasz Kuszczak and Edwin van der Sar. It follows an MUTV interview in which Tomasz joked about Edwin giving him the cold shoulder treatment. In print, his comments looked harmful to the dressing room spirit but the boss was more than happy to knock the story on the head: “Tomasz was cracking a joke and laughing when he said it. There is absolutely no problem with Tomasz and Edwin, it’s absolute nonsense. Maybe Polish humour doesn’t translate to English, I don’t know! Maybe we’re just talking about modern journalism, as is the usual fashion.” (AB
