MUTV's comprehensive coverage of United means there are plenty of contenders when it comes to a shortlist for Goal of the Month.

The nominations comprise not only the well-known first-team goals, but also the best strikes from the channel's live coverage of  reserves and academy games. September's selection is no exception, kicking off with Kiko Macheda's marvellous finish at Oldham Athletic in the Manchester Senior Cup. The Italian's strike for the reserves is swiftly followed by an academy cracker - Larnell Cole's direct free-kick away to Sheffield United.

The first team notched fourteen goals last month - four of them, as scored by Dimitar Berbatov (2nd vs Liverpool), Darron Gibson (Scunthorpe), Nani (Bolton) and Chicharito (Valencia), join Macheda and Cole's efforts on MUTV's shortlist.
