St James' Park has been a happy hunting ground for United over the years. In fact, the Reds are unbeaten in the last seven trips to Newcastle, winning six and drawing once; you have to go all the way back to September 2001 to find a defeat.

Of course, one of United’s greatest victories on Tyneside came during the 1995/96 season, when Eric Cantona's strike sealed a famous win that helped overturn the Magpies’ 12-point lead at the top of the table. Sir Alex Ferguson’s side went on to lift the title and the FA Cup, becoming the first ever English team to win two domestic doubles.
