Video: Semi-final strikes

Can United score a goal against Schalke to rival these classics?

George Best v Real Madrid 1968
Old Trafford was rocking for a semi-final clash against the Spanish aristocrats and Best lashed in the only goal from John Aston's cross.

Andy Cole v Juventus 1999
Italian teams simply didn't lose 2-0 leads at home but they did when Yorke powered though and was felled by Peruzzi but Cole tapped in to send United through.

Wayne Rooney v AC Milan 2007
United took a lead to the San Siro thanks to this late strike by Rooney, his second of the night, as a sweeping first-time shot caught Dida napping.

Paul Scholes v Barcelona 2008
A tense encounter was settled by a strike of sheer brilliance by Scholes, a blistering drive past Valdes for his second goal of the season.

Cristiano Ronaldo v Arsenal 2009
"It's 35 yards out and too far for Ronaldo to think about it," said ITV commentator Clive Tyldesley. He was wrong.
