The Reds were in unstoppable form against Arsene Wenger's beleaguered Arsenal side at Old Trafford on Sunday afternoon as United thumped the Gunners 8-2.

Danny Welbeck kicked off the scoring on 22 minutes, before David De Gea's brilliant penalty save from Robin van Persie was swiftly followed by a stunning strike from Ashley Young - his first goal for the club.

Wayne Rooney fired a superb hat-trick, while Nani and Ji-sung Park also got in the scoring act with Young netting a spectacular second in injury time.
