Javier Hernandez’s well-deserved summer break has begun after the striker helped Mexico to a thrilling come-from-behind Gold Cup final victory over the USA at the weekend.

Chicharito picked up both player of the tournament and golden boot gongs after scoring seven goals in six games for El Tri in the States.

It was a glorious end to a stunning season for the 23-year-old, who hit a remarkable 20 goals in all competitions and helped United to a historic 19th league title.
