On this day nine years ago, United bounced back from a surprise home defeat to Middlesbrough to win a cracker at Leeds 4-3.
As we haven't played our rivals from Yorkshire for some time at league level, we thought we'd take a trip down memory lane by replaying the highlights of the seven-goal showdown, which was a noon kick-off at Elland Road.
The Reds raced into a 4-1 lead, with Ole Gunnar Solskjaer scoring a quickfire double, but had to withstand a late fightback from the hosts before securing the three points.
Unfortunately, we had to settle for third place at the end of the season behind Arsenal and Liverpool. But days like this are well worth recalling.
