Video: Chicha's campaign

Paul Scholes aside, nobody expected Javier Hernandez to make such an impact in his first season at Old Trafford.

After watching Hernandez’s non-competitive debut in the USA last summer, Scholes told Sir Alex the Mexican would score 25 goals this term. He wasn’t far wrong.

The manager planned to introduce his new forward to the first-team fold gradually, but could not ignore the 22-year-old’s rapid acclimatisation to life at United – and unerring accuracy in front of goal – for long.

Our free video recalls the highlights of a remarkable maiden campaign for United’s newly crowned fans’ player of the year.
