The Reds picked up a hard-fought point at the Britannia Stadium following a 1-1 draw with Stoke City.

Nani had put the visitors ahead on 27 minutes with a superb individual goal, but Peter Crouch levelled seven minutes after the break after stooping to head home Matthew Etherington's corner.

Tony Pulis' men made it a testing afternoon for David De Gea in the United goal, but the young Spaniard was up to the task and made some superb saves in both halves.
