One of United's most amazing comebacks came at White Hart Lane on this day (29 September) a decade ago.
The Reds were reeling at the break as goals from Dean Richards, Les Ferdinand and Christian Ziege handed Glenn Hoddle's Spurs a commanding three-goal lead.
Andrew Cole's header from a Gary Neville cross had the hosts quaking a minute after the restart and a famous fightback continued when Laurent Blanc converted a David Beckham corner. With 18 minutes left, Ruud van Nistelrooy levelled the scores and a wonderful move culminated in Juan Sebastian Veron edging United ahead soon afterwards.
Beckham added the coup de grace with a beautiful piece of chest control before despatching his shot past Neil Sullivan, the keeper he beat from the halfway line at Selhurst Park.
