PL Awards: United saves

To celebrate its 20th season, the Premier League is presenting awards in various categories - many of them featuring nominees from Manchester United, the competition's most successful club.

The shortlist for the Best Save of the 20 Seasons includes three made by United goalkeepers. Two of them are Peter Schmeichel stops - diving left to block a volley from Liverpool's Don Hutchinson at Anfield in March 1993, and showing similar agility to keep out a header by Newcastle's John Barnes at St James' Park in December 1997.

The third United save among the nominees was Tomasz Kuszczak's point-blank parry at Birmingham City in September 2007, when Rio Ferdinand inadvertently diverted a James McSheffrey effort towards goal.

You can watch all three saves here on ManUtd.com and then, if you want Schmeichel or Kuszczak to win the award, vote for them at premierleague.com.
