Watch our video featuring action from four recent trips to the Etihad:
City 0 United 1 (League) 30 Nov 2008
City 0 United 1 (League) 17 Apr 2010
City 0 United 0 (League) 10 Nov 2010
City 2 United 3 (FA Cup) 8 Jan 2012
During this period, City also won one game: the Carling Cup semi-final first leg on 19 Jan 2010.
Although the title race can't be mathematically settled on Monday night, a United win would all but keep the Barclays Premier League trophy at Old Trafford for another season.
Even a draw would leave Reds supporters smiling, as Manchester City would then be three points adrift of Sir Alex's men with only two games to play.
And despite plenty of bluster from those of a Blue persuasion this week, United fans have just as many reasons to be positive ahead of the trip to the Etihad. Chief among those is the knowledge that four of the last five results Sir Alex's men have achieved on City's turf would be met with huge cheers from the away end at the final whistle on Monday night.
Indeed, the Reds have lost just once at City in the last four-and-a-half years. Even then, that was in the first leg of a Carling Cup semi-final and, a week later, United overturned the deficit to reach Wembley.
So although the Blues boast the best home record in the Premier League this term, United will travel to the Etihad Stadium on Monday full of confidence.
