Dimitar Berbatov may now be gone – off to ply his trade at Fulham – but the Bulgarian striker's stint at Manchester United won't be forgotten in a hurry.
How could it? Not after he lit up the Theatre of Dreams for four years with tender touches, cushioned control and sublime skill. Not after his rare hat-trick against Liverpool. Not after he finished joint top scorer in the Barclays Premier League in 2010/11.
Berbatov arrived from Tottenham for a club-record fee in September 2008 and went on to score 56 goals in 149 appearances for Manchester United. A bewitching talent, Berbatov's Old Trafford career had its fair share of ups and downs.
Here, courtesy of MUTV Online, are some of his best moments from his time at the club. Enjoy.
