Players and fans alike were left stunned last weekend by the news that Paul Scholes had come out of retirement.
After resuming his career as a sub against Manchester City, Scholes started Saturday's match at Old Trafford - and duly extended his impressive scoring record against Bolton Wanderers.
The 37-year-old has now netted eight times in his 12 meetings with the Trotters, including a double in the famous 6-0 win at Burnden Park back in February 1996.
