Gallery: Reds in training

United's players have been working hard at Carrington during pre-season training, as caught on camera by club photographers John and Matt Peters.

Our exclusive gallery of images taken during Friday's session includes photos of the players flying out on the DHL tour on Monday, including Shinji Kagawa, Dimitar Berbatov and Paul Scholes. And with a number of young players keen to impress as  places on the trip are finalised, it looked a real work-out for all those involved.

Also, the snappers captured the sight every United supporter wants to see - captain Nemanja Vidic back on the training pitch after a long-term injury. And while the Serbian won't be in the squad for South Africa and China, it was great to spot him back at work.
