Video: Kagawa in action

Updated 11 June, 14:30 BST

Shinji Kagawa caught Manchester United's eye during a three-year spell with Borussia Dortmund in which he developed a reputation as a midfielder who makes things happen.

The dynamic Japan international, a creator and scorer of goals, helped the German outfit win back-to-back league titles, the second of which was accompanied by a cup triumph – the first domestic double in Dortmund's history.

Back in August 2010, Kagawa gave an indication of his ability against our neighbours, Manchester City, when he won a penalty and later scored with a low shot in a 3-1 win.

ManUtd.com's free video shows action from that pre-season game and recent footage of Kagawa in training with Japan, courtesy of MCFC.tv and Nippon TV.
