ManUtd.com recalls United's recent history against the three clubs back in the Barclays Premier League for 2012/13, continuing here with Sam Allardyce's West Ham...

Best game: Trailing the hosts by two Mark Noble penalties in the midst of the 2010/2011 title race, cometh the hour, cometh the man. Wayne Rooney hit a marvellous hat-trick to turn the game on its head, the first a wonderful free-kick. The striker's second strike was expertly converted and he beat Rob Green from the spot when Matthew Upson handled. Javier Hernandez made it 4-2 to wrap up yet another remarkable comeback as the 19th championship loomed large.

Best goal: The 5-3 win at Upton Park in 2002 was a real contender for the best game but, instead, we just look back on David Beckham's majestic strike from that fixture. The midfielder was in stunning form and chipped over David James for a goal described as "beautiful" by Sir Alex Ferguson afterwards. There was great finesse in the finish from the England star, who went on to score again from the penalty spot.

Low point: Losing 0-1 at Old Trafford in May 2007 - a result that kept West Ham up in Carlos Tevez's controversial last game for the club - wasn't a great
