Video: Scholes galore

If Paul Scholes returns to the United side on Sunday, he’ll be hoping to maintain an excellent scoring record against Newcastle.

There was probably a collective groan on Tyneside when our midfield maestro came out of retirement last season, for he has so often been the scourge of the Magpies in the past.

In 24 league appearances against them, the 37-year-old has scored nine goals – more than he's managed against any other team. That tally included a memorable hat-trick in a 6-2 romp at St James’ Park in 2003, while he's also found the net twice in FA Cup ties.

Enjoy all his league strikes again in our free video above, and let’s hope for another vintage Scholes performance in the North East this weekend.
