Patrice Evra marked his 300th Manchester United appearance on Sunday in perfect fashion - captaining the side to victory and contributing a rare goal to the cause.
The Frenchman's first-half header to make it 2-0 was, in fact, his first goal for almost two years. The last time Evra was on the scoresheet was in a game against Wigan Athletic in November 2010 and before that there was an even longer gap, dating back to 2006/07.
That campaign - his first full one as a United player - brought him two goals, at the expense of firstly Everton and then Roma in the famous 7-1 romp.
Congratulations, Patrice, on reaching 300 games for the Reds - but more importantly on helping the team get back to winning ways in the Barclays Premier League.
