Video: Giggs interview

Ryan Giggs has spoken about Roberto Di Matteo ahead of United's Capital One Cup fourth round encounter at Chelsea.

The Welshman sat down with MUTV and was asked about the qualities of the former Italy international, who led the Londoners to FA Cup and Champions League glory last season.

"He was clearly a good player and obviously has had a good start as well to his management career," said the Reds veteran.

"When you come up against Italian managers, they're tactically very good. Some of them play quite a defensive game but I don't really see that with the Chelsea team at the moment.

"He was attacking midfielder and he's got plenty of them because they've got three or four of those players who play in the pockets just behind the forward and are difficult to pick up."
