We run the rule over Real Sociedad, United's Group A Champions League opponents...
Where do they play? Anoeta Stadium; capacity 32,076.
Who's the boss? Jagoba Arrasate. At 35, he's one of the youngest managers around but he had stints with Berriatuko and Elgoibar before joining Sociedad in 2010, initially as youth coach. He was promoted from assistant coach in June to succeed Philippe Montanier.
How did they qualify? The Basque outfit did superbly to finish fourth in last season's La Liga. Impressive 2-0 wins away and home against French side Lyon clinched only a second appearance in the group stages of the competition.
Who's their key man? Carlos Vela. The Mexican is well known to English supporters following his spell at Arsenal, where he showed flashes of real quality. The fleet-footed forward scored twice in the home tie with Lyon and has started the campaign in fine form.
Have we met before? No, it'll be the first time we've made the trip to take on the Basque and the trip to the beautiful coastal city of San Sebastian is likely to be a popular one with United's travelling army of fans.
