Review 2013: Best games

ManUtd.com's review of 2013 continues with some of the year's greatest games...

Reflections on a momentous year are dominated by Sir Alex's retirement and David Moyes taking over. Of course, there was also some football played and fans were treated to some truly remarkable matches. Here are five of the best:

22/04/2013: United 3 Aston Villa 0
With the title up for grabs, the Reds seal the crown in convincing style as Robin van Persie’s stunning first-half hat-trick sinks the Villans in front of 75,000-plus jubilant fans.

12/05/2013: United 2 Swansea 1
At the end of an era, the newly-crowned champions leave it late to secure a hard-fought victory to cap Sir Alex's final match as manager at the Theatre of Dreams.

17/08/2013: Swansea City 1 United 4
Moyes makes a winning start in the Barclays Premier League as the Reds cruise to a comfortable opening-day victory thanks to braces from van Persie and Danny Welbeck.

10/11/2013: United 1 Arsenal 0
Playing against his former club, RvP scores the only goal (and celebrates this time) as the Reds inflict an influential defeat on the league leaders.

27/11/2013: Bayer Leverkusen 0 United 5
United reach the Champions League's last 16 with a game to spare by thrashing
