Video: Real Madrid 1968

Manchester United and Real Madrid contested a memorable two-legged semi-final tie in 1968.

George Best scored the only goal of the game in the first leg at Old Trafford to put the Reds in pole position. But over in Spain, in front of 125,000 passionate Real Madrid fans, Los Blancos raced into a 3-1 lead by half-time.

In these two videos, members of that 1968 side, including Sir Bobby Charlton, Alex Stepney, Nobby Stiles, Paddy Crerand and Bill Foulkes, recall the mood in the dressing room at half-time in Madrid and how the Reds rallied to stage a sensational comeback. Enjoy.
