1999: Liverpool (H) 2-1
In a year that would send excitement levels through the roof, this would set the tone for what followed. The Merseysiders were clinging to Michael Owen's goal and preparing to celebrate a major scalp when Dwight Yorke levelled from close range in the 88th minute. The relief turned to ecstacy when Ole Gunnar Solskjaer struck moments later to snatch victory from the jaws of defeat.

2003: West Ham (H) 6-0
Sir Alex always insists that revenge is never a motive in football but, two years after being dumped out of the competition at the same stage by Paolo Di Canio's winner, the Reds set the record straight in some style. Ryan Giggs struck twice in the first half and four goals followed after the break. Ruud van Nistelrooy bagged two of them with Phil Neville and
