United Review recently took this look at the Reds' six previous FA Cup quarter-final ties against London sides, all won by Sir Alex Ferguson's men...
2010/11: United 2 Arsenal 0 - Fabio was the Reds' unlikely first scorer, tapping in after Manuel Almunia saved well from Javier Hernandez. Robin van Persie and his Arsenal team-mates couldn't find a way past Edwin van der Sar, though, and Wayne Rooney sealed the win.
2008/09: Fulham 0 United 4 - United cruised past the Cottagers and into the semi-finals to keep alive dreams of a potential quintuple. Everton scuppered that at Wembley but, on this day, anything looked possible as a Carlos Tevez brace inspired a comfortable victory.
2003/04: United 2 Fulham 1 - Defensive errors littered this performance but United had enough up front - namely, Ruud van Nistelrooy - to overcome a Fulham side that took the lead from the penalty spot. Van Nistelrooy equalised almost immediately before netting the winner after the interval.
1998/99: Chelsea 0 United 2 (replay) - After an eventful 0-0 draw at Old Trafford, United and Chelsea met again three days later. This time, the net bulged twice for Dwight Yorke - once after just four minutes and then, following a period of sustained Chelsea pressure, on the hour mark.
1994/95: United 2 QPR 0 - Goals from Lee Sharpe and Denis Irwin were enough to see off a plucky QPR side with Sharpe's celebration - an Elvis Presley impersonation with the corner-flag acting as a microphone - the enduring memory.
1993/94: United 3 Charlton 1 - Peter Schmeichel was dismissed shortly before half-time for handling outside his penalty area but the 10-men Reds remained on course for the Double thanks to goals from Andrei Kanchelskis (2) and Mark Hughes.
