Pics: Toffees too tough

Manchester United's impressive away run in the Barclays Premier League ended on Easter Sunday as Everton spoiled David Moyes' return to Goodison Park.

The damage was done before the break, with a Leighton Baines penalty and Kevin Mirallas' controlled finish condemning the Reds to an eventual 2-0 defeat, despite United having decent periods of possession.

Wayne Rooney was presented with a great chance to pull a goal back late on, only to be superbly denied by former Reds goalkeeper Tim Howard, compounding a frustrating afternoon in front of goal.

As always, United's official club photographers John and Matt Peters were in attendance to capture the action, and you can view a gallery of the best photos from the match by clicking the image above.
