Gallery: Out and about in Denver

Manchester United manager Louis van Gaal and his players have been out and about in Denver ahead of the team's opening match in the International Champions Cup (ICC) against AS Roma.

The Reds boss dropped in at Denver Fire Department to give out some tickets for Saturday's match at Sports Authority Field as part of the United For Heroes initiative.

Chicharito embarked on his own mini sight-seeing trip to some local landmarks, including a visit to the Denver Mint, which is the single largest producer of coins in the world, and Sports Authority Field which will host Saturday's game.

Across town Ashley Young, Shinji Kagawa and Reece James met some players from Major League Baseball's Colorado Rockies team at their Coors Field home.

Van Gaal and his men then spent part of the evening doing more training at Sports Authority Field in preparation for the ICC clash against the Italians.
