Pics: Awards night at OT

There were emotional scenes at Old Trafford on Thursday night when interim manager Ryan Giggs picked up "one of the most special awards I've ever received."

The Welshman received the club's Lifetime Achievement Award after 26 years of service for Manchester United, having seen goalkeeper David De Gea collect both the Sir Matt Busby Player of the Year and Players' Player of the Year awards.

There was no surprise in the Goal of the Season category, with Wayne Rooney's 60-yard strike against West Ham in March being voted the clear winner.

James Wilson, who scored twice in midweek against Hull, was named the Jimmy Murphy Academy Player of the Year, while youngster Saidy Janko picked up the Denzil Haroun Reserve Team Player of the Year crown.
