Video: Goal of the Month

Eight different scorers are in the running to scoop Manchester United’s Goal of the Month award for October.

Three players’ maiden strikes for the club are on our shortlist: Radamel Falcao’s winner against Everton, as well as blasts by Marouane Fellaini and Daley Blind at West Brom.

September winner Angel Di Maria’s opener against the Toffees is also nominated, as is Robin van Persie’s last-gasp equaliser in the month’s final game against leaders Chelsea.

The remaining contenders were netted for United’s youth teams: Will Keane’s second in the Reserves’ come-from-behind Lancashire Senior Cup win over Accrington Stanley, Oliver Rathbone’s hat-trick goal for the Under-18s against Blackburn and James Wilson’s emphatic finish against West Ham Under-21s.
