Patrice Evra says victory in Sunday's Club World Cup final would cap off a year to remember for United with three major trophies in their possession.
The Reds have the chance to add the world championship title to their Premier League and Champions League honours in Yokohama on Sunday evening after seeing off the challenge of Gamba Osaka on Thursday.
Sir Alex's men take on Liga de Quito from Ecuador in the final and Evra is confident United will end the night victorious.
"If we are professional and do our job I think we have a great chance," he told MUTV. "To be named world champions after winning the league and the Champions Leaue would make it an amazing year.
"We worked very hard to win the Champions League last season and this is a very important trophy for us. It would be a real honour to be known as the best team in the world."
Sunday's game will be Evra's last in a red shirt for three weeks as he serves a four-game ban following an improper conduct charge for his part in the fracas
