Fans fancy Lisbon in last 16

United fans fancy a February trip to Portugal or Spain, according to our Champions League last 16 poll ahead of today's draw.

Sporting Lisbon
are the supporters' favourite among the five teams the Reds could face in the next round - Cristiano Ronaldo's old club received 44 per cent of the votes.

Real Madrid were in second place - one in three readers would like a crack at the Spanish side. Bear in mind, most people voted before today's story about Real's renewed interest in Ronaldo and the angry response it stirred from Sir Alex Ferguson.

Inter Milan came third in the poll with nearly nine per cent of readers relishing an opportunity to duel with Jose Mourinho once again.

Olympique Lyonnais were marginally behind Inter with eight per cent of the votes.

Atletico Madrid represent the least popular draw , gleaning just seven per cent.

The time for polls, pondering and predicting will soon be over - the draw for the Champions League last 16 takes place on Friday morning in Nyon, France. Look out for details and reaction from the United squad on from shortly after 11:00 GMT.
