Obertan: There's more to come

Gabriel Obertan produced a bit of magic when he came on against Wolfsburg to help Michael Owen on his way to a first Reds hat-trick, and now the French winger wants to produce those kinds of moments on a regular basis.

Reds fans have taken quickly to the exciting 20-year-old starlet, and with good reason. He's shown flashes of his undoubted talent in eight appearances so far since recovering from a back injury that kept him out at the start of the season.

United's coaching staff have been pleasantly surprised by how quickly he has taken to first-team football at Old Trafford.

So rapid has his progression been in recent weeks that he is now regularly involved in the 18-man matchday squad and may even fancy a starting place against Wolverhampton Wanderers this evening.
