Vote: Player of the Month

The March action may have ended on a low note but the month still offered plenty to celebrate as the Reds retained top spot in the league and made progress in three cups - including victory in the Carling Cup final.

The ManUtd.com team at Old Trafford has picked five possibles for Player of the Month:

Ryan Giggs - Menacingly reprised his old left-wing role against Inter; probed and prompted as the improvement at Fulham almost yielded a result; scored a spot-kick at Wembley

John O'Shea - Started all six games at right-back; impressed especially at Newcastle where he assisted Rooney's goal and combated Jonas Gutierrez's threat

Ji-sung Park - Highlights of a busy month include that vital assist for Berbatov's winner at Newcastle and an accomplished finish for United's fourth goal at Fulham (FA Cup)

Wayne Rooney - Scored at Newcastle and Fulham (FA Cup); almost inspired a comeback at Fulham in the league with a tremendous display as sub prior to being sent off

Carlos Tevez - First-half double at Fulham put Reds en route to the FA Cup semi-final; led the line manfully and later converted a penalty in the Carling Cup final
