Vote: Player of the Month

In a month in which the Reds secured top spot in Champions League Group C and maintained an unbeaten league run, which included a 1-0 win against title challengers Arsenal, there were plenty of top performers.

But who gets your vote for United's Player of the Month for December? To make your life easier, we've narrowed the field to five and written a short blurb to help you weigh up each player's merits. Now it's down to you. Vote now at

Mins on the pitch: 311
Star performance: v Valencia

The Brazilian started all December's games and stamped his authority on each one. Deployed in an advanced role, he often drove the Reds forward and linked well with the strikers. Oh, and how could we forget: he even scored a rare goal against Valencia.

Mins on the pitch: 262
Star performance: v Sunderland/Birmingham

Ji-sung Park
Mins on the pitch: 270
Star performance: v Arsenal

This term Ji's been a potent attacking force. He's already netted six goals, a season-high as a United player. But will any be more important than his clever header against Arsenal? He also put in typically solid shifts against Valencia and Sunderland.

Mins on the pitch: 360
Star performance: v Arsenal

Nemanja Vidic
Mins on the pitch: 360
Star performance: v Sunderland

We almost missed Vida off our shortlist, but only because his flawless performances occur so often they now seem
