Fabio Capello has called five United players into his England squad for the Euro 2012 qualifiers against Bulgaria and Wales.
The Italian coach has been full of praise for Sir Alex's young Reds and has included Tom Cleverley again after the midfielder was drafted in ahead of the postponed clash with Holland due to injuries.
Phil Jones is also called up, along with fellow defender Chris Smalling, after both impressed at Under-21 level over the summer. Ashley Young and Wayne Rooney, who scored five of the goals against Arsenal between them, obviously keep their places as key figures for their country.
There could have been more United faces in the party but Rio Ferdinand is not being risked despite being on the bench on Sunday, Danny Welbeck hurt his hamstring in the first half and Michael Carrick may not be fit after not making the squad for the 8-2 romp.
City have six players included, perhaps highlighting a power shift towards Manchester in terms of the domestic game.
