Date set for FA Cup tie

Story updated 03/02/2011

United's FA Cup fifth-round clash with Crawley Town has been scheduled for Saturday 19 February. Kick-off at Old Trafford will be at 17:15 GMT.

By knocking out Swindon Town, Derby County and Torquay United, giantkillers Crawley are only the sixth non-league side to reach the fifth round since World War II. Speaking before the fifth-round draw was made, their manager Steve Evans said: "Who do I want next? Everybody says Manchester United at Old Trafford and that would be great, particularly as it would be me, a Celtic fan, against Alex Ferguson, a Rangers man.

"Don’t worry, even if we go to Old Trafford, we’ll go there to win."

Meanwhile, Rio Ferdinand described the draw as "great for the fans and all concerned" before adding, "Crawley Town... gotta say, this is why the buzz of the FA Cup can't be matched anywhere in the world."
