Ji-sung Park knows United must get over last week’s derby disaster quickly and says there’s no better way of doing so than to put on a show at Everton.
It may take more than a week to fully erase memories of the 6-1 horror show against City, but the Reds can give a statement of intent at Goodison Park on Saturday.
Korean winger Park told ManUtd.com: "We have to concentrate and everyone has to turn up to show the City game has not affected us. We have to get over that.
"We have to put it right on the pitch and we have to prove it. It’s a very important game to us and we have to go there and fight to get the points."
Victory is the aim but it won’t be an easy ride on a ground where United dropped two late points last season.
"It’s not an easy game at Goodison Park – it’s always difficult there," Park said. "Just look at last season, when we were winning 3-1 and in injury-time they scored two goals."
Former Red Louis Saha is running into form, having scored his first two goals of the season this week, and will hope to be involved on Saturday.
