Gallery: Reds beat Fulham

Robin van Persie and Shinji Kagawa both scored on their home debuts to help Manchester United to a 3-2 win against Fulham on Saturday.

The only downer on an otherwise jubilant afternoon was the sight of Wayne Rooney being carried off on a stretcher in the dying stages. He now faces a month on the sidelines.

With Olympian gold medallist Usain Bolt also in attendance at Old Trafford, it was a busy day for press photographers, including club snappers John and Matt Peters.
