International Reds

Robbie Brady was retained for Republic of Ireland's Under-21s as they have an important qualifier against Turkey, rather than earning a call-up to Giovanni Trapattoni's senior squad. His manager Noel King admitted to RTE: "I know the senior manager wanted him in for the game against Serbia, but he has allowed us to have him, so I'm very pleased with that. But I would imagine if Robbie keeps making the progress he has been then he will certainly play for the senior team quite a number of times."

Joshua King is also on Under-21 duty, with Norway, but Marnick Vermijl has withdrawn from the Belgium squad at that level for the meeting with Scotland.
