Shinji Kagawa's impressive start to life at Manchester United has yielded his first award - ManUtd.com's Man of the Match against Fulham.
The Japanese international was involved in most of the Reds' best attacking moves in Saturday's 3-2 victory - and while he's likely to score better goals aesthetically, the way he claimed his first goal for the club pointed to his powers of alertness and speed inside the area.
Kagawa was unfortunate not to cap a dazzling display with a double, when his shot struck a post in the build-up to Rafael 'scoring' from an offside position. He left the field to an ovation from the faithful at Old Trafford, a response that was reflected in the results of our online poll.
Shinji vaccumed up the majority of the votes on ManUtd.com, gleaning 56 per cent. His nearest challengers Rafael (19 pc) and Tom Cleverley (13 pc) garnered just less than a third of the votes between them, ahead of the editorial team's other nominees Robin van Persie (10 pc) and Patrice Evra (2 pc).
