Boss eyes Bridge boost

Manchester United's league trips to Chelsea have been far from fruitful during the last ten years but Sir Alex Ferguson hopes that will change when the Reds visit Stamford Bridge on Sunday.

United, who beat Andre Villas-Boas' side 3-1 earlier in the season at Old Trafford, have not tasted victory in the league on Chelsea's patch since April 2002 and have been on the wrong end of a number of controversial refereeing decisions, particularly in the last two seasons.

But after seeing his team drew level on points with league leaders Manchester City this week, Sir Alex knows the importance of coming away from West London with a positive result on Sunday.

"We’ve done very well away from home this season and we need to be good from now on," the boss tells the March issue of Inside United.

"We’ve got some really important away games in the run-in – Chelsea, Tottenham and Man City. They’re going to be crucial games.
