The Football Association have confirmed Wayne Rooney and Tom Cleverley's withdrawal from the England squad.
Rooney's throat infection has seen him miss the matches with Ajax and Norwich while Cleverley picked up an ankle injury in the second leg of the Europa League on Thursday.
United will be monitoring the fitness of both players ahead of Sunday's crunch clash at Tottenham.
It means Cleverley misses out on a potential debut for his country at senior level for a second time but Danny Welbeck, Ashley Young, Chris Smalling and Phil Jones are still available to represent the Reds against Holland with Stuart Pearce taking charge of the team.
Ben Amos and Will Keane are on Under-21 duty for England against Belgium at Middlesbrough's Riverside Stadium, while Sam Johnstone is in the Under-19 squad for Tuesday's match with Czech Republic.
