Keanes' England hopes

Michael and Will Keane have expressed their international ambitions in an exclusive interview with the next issue of Inside United.

The twins, who turned 19 this week, discuss life growing up at United and the thrill of both making their first-team debuts in 2011.

Michael, who has been in excellent form at centre-back for the Reserves, is looking to represent England after previously appearing for Republic of Ireland at youth level.

"I've just made a change," he revealed to Inside United. "Hopefully I'll be playing for England in February. The Under-19s have got a friendly against Czech Republic and I've been told that, hopefully, I'll be involved in that."

Prolific striker Will has already represented England at Under-21 level, appearing twice in European Championship qualifiers last November.

"I'm hoping to stay with the Under-21s," he admitted. "If I keep doing well, Stuart Pearce and his scouts will be watching our games and I will always have a chance of getting called up again."

The interview will appear in full in the March edition of Inside United, on sale on 2 February.
